Liberia's Lone Star Heads to Johannesburg for World Cup Qualifiers Against Namibia

A delegation from Liberia, including players, technical officials, and government representatives, is set to depart for Johannesburg, South Africa.


The Lone Star team will compete against Namibia on June 5 at Orlando Stadium as part of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.


Led by LFA Executive Committee member Tickly D. Monkoney, Jr., the delegation will transit through Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire before continuing to Johannesburg.


In a last-minute change, Sean Barry, who was injured during the final training session, has been replaced by Armah Vaikainah.
